Honestly no. I could've gotten either but went with this because of the lower power TDP. I was thinking about the 5600x too but opted for the extra cores for a little more future proofing.

As someone who performed the same upgrade last year, nah. If you're going to upgrade your AM4 setup, go 5800X3D and you'll see a worthwhile bump, anything else not so much.
