AM6 😂

You realize AM5 is probably gonna live on as a system for probably the next 6-8 years before we ever see an AM6?
It has been this price for a while. Why a deal?

I have a 3600 with a 3070ti on an x570 steel legend. Been thinking about upgrading as I feel I'm cpu limited in warzone and apex.

Everyone keeps saying go for the 58003d or w.e but the price difference doesn't seem worth it?

best bet is to look at reviews that list both (gamers nexus i belive has one). for me it wasnt' worth the $150 price difference. When the 5700x is no longer viable i'll be wanting to move on to AM6 more then likely. that or maybe 3rd gen AM5.

Back then for around this price, you'll have to settle for a 4c/4t pentium.
Anyways, don't forget to optimize the cpu (negative) curve, that the 5000 series supports, within the bios. It'll help it you get those peak sustained GHz.

Same thought. I'm waiting for the price on 5700x to drop a bit more, maybe when the free game promo ends. I'm still on a 1500x.

I snagged this on Black Friday with the Amex 40% off deal and got it for $160 + tax. It's a great processor and does everything well that I need it to do.

I also have a 3600 as well. And it would be a nice upgrade for me, one thing to keep in mind, what kinda cooler are you running? Because if your running something like a hyper 212 for example, and you upgrade to the 5700x you will be fine, it's a 65w chip. The 5800x however is 100w and will run hotter. I've seen tests where the 5700x kept up with the 5800x just because of thermal throttling.

Let alone the 5800x3d. So if your cpu cooler is fine, the 5700x would be a helpful upgrade you would probably gain 20-30fps.

You'll be limited by gpu. Wz performs terribly on Nvidia gpus compared to amd equivalent
