I don't live near a Menards. And I've never been to a Menards. But a quick web search (I think?) reveals that these are on DEEP SALE for only $.99 cents at Menards!

These are great for holding your stars'n'stripes plastic table cloth down for your 4th of July picnic, but don't have enough grip strength for much else.

It's not apparent from the pictures, but 1.5 inch is a fairly small clamp, so buyer expectations beware. Probably useful for small detail/glue work but not much, if any, 2x4 work.

I haven't used this exact version before, but I've been disappointed in other brands of the same style. I recently found a clamp I'm impressed with. It's not on sale, it's way more expensive...

I left one outside for the last 9 months holding up something and it looks like new. It also has one of the strongest springs I've seen in a clamp. There is a 4" and 1" version as well.

I use Bessy clamps from Homedepot, they work very well for the price.

I'll have to pick a few of these up. Was planning to go to Menards again anyway.

Do you live in Oak Creek, WI or Cicero, IL? Because those are the only two locations with stock and each store only has one.

Too small, buyers beware. Not so practical for woodworking projects.

These are worthless - the one clamp that just sits on the shelf and is never used in my array of clamps. Won't get tight enough for anything practical. Horrible design.

I bought their saw horse and it had a card for free clamp if registered. Hopefully it comes in!

I bought some of these a while ago on a decent slickdeal. I always thought they were "the good ones" but I am not really getting any value. The distance between "ratchets" that tighten as you squeeze is weird and soft on which one they lock. I dunno I just end up using 99 cent metal squeeze clamps like I did before. If I need to soften them I add cardboard to the grip point. These just take up space on my pegboard. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I feel like I don't really understand what they are for.
