I think out of the big 3 food delivery companies grubhub has the most inflated price.

I'd rather just order direct from the restaurant and pick it up myself. It saves me the money, the restaurant makes more money, and my food is fresher.

The delivery apps are useful if you have mobility issues, have no car, or live in a big city where driving is a PITA. Convenience is a thing, so I guess for many it's worth the premium they are paying to have it delivered at the door.

After fees, tip , etc I paid $50 for a medium pizza and chicken wings from a local restaurant. Also I recieved a message of being charged more due to a price difference listed in app and in restaurant

Just worked for me. I compared carts with Uber Eats using 40% coupon EATS40E6N on an account w/o Uber One and it was still cheaper on Grubhub with Plus membership.

Crap, I forget I have another UE acct with Uber One trial that would have been few bucks cheaper than Grubhub

Used it for pickup and promo still worked but it shows $3 driver tip being charged, LOL. Decided not to place the order. Probably a glitch, tried again and it said must be delivery.
