This is a great brand and been using it for a while, especially before bed. Glycinate is a solid magnesium and well absorbed. Would definitely aim to take it later in the day as magnesium and glycine are both relaxing. I've personally never had an issue with doctors best supplements, especially with their pricing.

Only thing better would be sucrosomial magnesium, but it is a fair bit more expensive. Offers less sides and best absorbed magnesium you can get.

Got the 240 count for like $12. It's ratings are very high, and I've been eyeing this brand.

This is a good deal. They were $10.25 when I bought them with this coupon back at the end of April. My total was $5.63 before tax with 15% S&S

What do the SlickDocs think of this kind? I've seen a ton of conflicting info about absorption and efficacy for various brands.

Nobody has insights about this brand since they were sold to the Chinese? So hard to trust them, although they are trying to make healthier choices as they become more affluent. Wonder what kind of Chinese company bought it. And I don't know if I want a 'doctors best' since most of them don't no much about diet or supplements ... Has anyone checked something like consumer lab, or other supplement rating sites to see how doctors best supplements rate generally? Some of these have a prop 65 warning about lead, Didn't check this one
The one thing I noticed since they changed ownership was that sometimes the prices would go down so low, much lower than it's ever been. Don't know what that's about.

This doesn't have much effect on me. First I used it for constipation issues but found out I need a different type of magnesium. Then it's supposed to help with sleep and relaxing you before bed. Didn't help much with sleeping so I switched to using melatonin

You're probably already aware, but melatonin should not be used long-term. My doctor said not more than a month or two max. It can have effects on the body's natural production and regulation of the hormone.

I had same issue. Idk if people really see affects or if it's all sugar pills. Melatonin, this brand, ashwaganda nothing really affected me much. Never got any sort of relaxation from any of them

My wife uses Herbatonin based on the doctor's recommendations.

Magnesium Citrate. Most forms of magnesium have poor bioavailability which makes them excellent for stool softening, but less than ideal for magnesium supplementation.

This is the form to use for supplementation. Won't make you go to the bathroom, but it should help for relaxation, low magnesium, sleep, muscle cramps, etc.

For what its worth, I've taken this for years, and as of yet I've never noticed any changes from the change in ownership as far as I have seen.
