These are nice for sharing files so you don't have to give away the faster/larger ones. But they are not so painfully slow like the USB 2.0 drives.

I got a pack. Very useful for loading a bunch of different Linux installations.

Sustained write speed of a 1GB file is 24 MB/s. Read speed of the same file is 112 MB/s.
So 11 minutes to fill the drive and 140 seconds to read it all back.

It's a deal for everyone who doesn't live near a MicroCenter, which is probably most people.

BTW here it is down to $12.46, $15.46 for the 32gb 10 pack and they have a lot of them.

I'm literally looking at this post because I had to throw away two 16 gb usb flash drives from microcenter because they failed after a couple years. I maybe used them 3-4 times? Trust me this is a deal because microcenter brand usb drives are trash.
