Unboxed mine today. Very obviously used, scuffed base and docking station, full dust bag, filthy mop area with hair and dirt and grime. Dust in the dust bin on the robot, water in the water bin on the robot.

Wouldn't have minded all of this, but they didn't ship me a critical component to use the mop, the water filter (a big plastic piece). The robot will not mop without this component.

Very poor QA for this refurb program. Contacted Roborock customer service and provided photos, not sure what resolution will be.

Nasty used? The last Roborock refurb that I got was brand-spanking new. Dreame is a decent robovac but not as good as V7Max.

Have a Roborock for less than a year. There's plastic under the wheel that broke. I'm guessing it was screwed in too tight. I contacted Roborock and they refused the warranty stating it's an accessory then directed me to aliexpress to order the part. Weird since they don't sell it on their website and don't state it ever needs replacing.

Picked up a S7 as we've been looking for a robo vacuum that will be able to mop. Didn't seem like the dock was really necessary since we'd have to clean the mopping pad anyways so might as well save some money.

Crazy they're charging this much for a refurbished vacuum. When Samsung or any other manufacturer sells their outdated models they dump them for 75% off.

Do they ever sell the self emptying docs on sale or refurbished? I wish I had one cuz the S7 dust bin is a pain to empty and is always dumping crap in the tray which is hard to get out.

I would try again with customer service. In the past I have found their CS to be very good!

Does this model have trouble with black wires? Have a huge mess of them under my bed that can't really be cleared up since they're for the adjustable bed frame.

Love my S7, but zero desire to upgrade just yet. S8 isn't enough of an upgrade, and the docking station doesn't do mop pad swaps, which really need to be built into the S9 or so at some point. The pad brush just isn't enough for dirty floors with cat litter and fur all over them. Needs to just have a stack of spare pads ready to go, and swap them automatically. *Then* it's basically maintenance free for a bit. ( I still have to 'ready' my floors for each use, so its not like I can just leave it on automatic currently. I might try a little harder to keep my floors robot friendly if the docking station truly did everything, but again that mop pad swap is a must. )

Just a few days earlier these refurbished models were over $1200. I waited having read these forums and on 1 June this price became available again. I went ahead and ordered. Good 2 year warranty and features for $900 is good for me. I'll get the drying component off aliexpress as others have mentioned.
