Unboxed mine today. Very obviously used, scuffed base and docking station, full dust bag, filthy mop area with hair and dirt and grime. Dust in the dust bin on the robot, water in the water bin on the robot.

Wouldn't have minded all of this, but they didn't ship me a critical component to use the mop, the water filter (a big plastic piece). The robot will not mop without this component.

Very poor QA for this refurb program. Contacted Roborock customer service and provided photos, not sure what resolution will be.

Nasty used? The last Roborock refurb that I got was brand-spanking new. Dreame is a decent robovac but not as good as V7Max.

Have a Roborock for less than a year. There's plastic under the wheel that broke. I'm guessing it was screwed in too tight. I contacted Roborock and they refused the warranty stating it's an accessory then directed me to aliexpress to order the part. Weird since they don't sell it on their website and don't state it ever needs replacing.

Curious, what is the part and cost? I haven't had the issue yet and wonder if I will need to replace ahead if it's a common issue. Thanks!

In all my research and personal experience with s7 Max V Ultra, it still appears to be the best all around robot vacuum mop for most people. Outperforming the new S8 pro ultra in most tasks. Of course the drying module ($99) is separate and highly recommended. The new "s7 max ultra" if simply streamlined and updated may be the way to go though for $1020 introductory pricing!

I don't think so. Some love the mop cleaning, but we didn't try that part. We had the S7 MaxV Plus (just vacuum auto empty). Unimpressed by the MaxV auto avoidance over the standard lidar. Returned the S7 MaxV Plus and just got the regular S7 Plus with this deal.

This is the thing that keeps me away from this brand. Class leading technology but the post-sale support is totally absent and that's difficult to overlook in this price range.

This might be the best out right now, but it's a maintenance nightmare, every other night it getting stuck somewhere or caught on the edge of a doormat or needing something brushed, cleaned, emptied or replaced. And just yesterday it pulled a cord and my new ceramic lamp got cracked open. Seems so much easier just to vacuum once a week. It's not too bad if we just let it run on the first floor only though.

Do you have to pair the s7+ dock with s7maxV separately for the dock to work ?

$280 for the S7 is a really good deal. We got ours for $350 and thought that was a steal. Our "like new" refurb from amazon (Roborock seller) seemed brand new and performs well. Only dislike is a smallish dust bin because we have pets and decent sq. footage.

It automatically senses it and the app will suddenly have more functionality. Just unplug the regular dock and put the s7maxv in vicinity of the auto empty dock

The s7max v also has a stronger suction kpa value... Compared to the regular s7. I believe it's quoted at 5200 vs 2500?

I like the appearance of the white model s7 more than the black s7maxv though.
