Does the sonos upgrade 15% stack? I cannot get it to work
Nope. It'll actually be more expensive!

I really want an Arc, but if you're buying Sonos, their referb inventory is the way to go. They restore the product and package it like new, and it has the same warranty.

I wonder if they're going to revamp their soundbar line since they released those new Era speakers. They have a completely new design so I could see that bleeding over to their soundbars.
I hope not. The bigger Era speakers are quite ugly…

Did not like this, ended up returning. It wants to use all the sonos software so unless you already have Sonos you will get annoyed that it won't just pair to you phone by the pool. Took it on a trip to Mexico and never even got it to work because I did not want k go through a long setup process.
Not sure which speaker you're referring to but both the Roam and Move have BT and AirPlay 2 functionality

Costco has matched or beat many of these prices now, plus some of the Costco deals include vouchers for free mounts, cases, or include Apple Music gift cards

The Roam at best buy also comes with a free case. Not available on Sonos website.

Scroll down, and you will see the option...

The Sonos Sub Gen 3 is $639. Has it been lower in the past? Pull the trigger or wait?

Just be aware that the Costco-exclusive Arc SL Shadow Edition sold in-store doesn't have a microphone, making it useless for Alexa/Google. Costco does sell the regular Arc, but only online.

Note: I have both the regular Arc and the Costco Shadow. While it is nice to have Alexa available, the speaker/microphone is not optimized to hear your commands when music is playing, It is nice to have the ability to use Alexa, but it can be very frustrating to try to get Alexa to stop playing music.

In this price range and for their functionality, you're not going to go wrong with Sonos. Please let us know what's "much better" so we can all partake.
Please google some sonos threads on r/budgetaudiophile or r/hometheater and you will find a ton of suggestions of SIGNIFICANTLY better setups at the price of Arc + Subwoofer.

Sonos is the best LAZY setup for people who never heard a decent home theater with proper separation. Soundbar simply can't deliver the same experience because you can't change physics laws

Picked up a second sub for $550. Open Box-Excellent from Best Buy. Not too bad.

I've been a musician for 35 years and have a pretty keen ear for music. They sound great to me (litte heavy on the low end, but not bad).

I realize theres a "that $300 speaker can't compare to my $7500 'I'm not married' setup," group out there, but lazy is not a bad thing when it comes to audio setups. Most people want to take their purchase out of a box, plug it in, and have it work. That's what Sonos does well.
