There are a bunch of people who are brand loyal or are hardcore DIYers or former professionals. Or they're people who have lots of money to spend on $2000 worth of tools and batteries for their projects. That's all fine and good.
What's NOT fine and good is making fun of someone or dismissing this deal for someone who wants tools for projects or doesn't have thousands to spend on decent tools.
These aren't for me, but damn this is a good deal for a new homeowner or someone looking to upgrade their corded tools. Let them be happy.
Does the fact that VW owns Lamborghini make you want to buy a Skoda? That a big conglomerate owns several brands doesn't really say much about those brands.
Dude I would most definitely buy a Skoda and the umbrella auto company does say a lot like when Chrysler Jeep was owned by Mercedes until 06 now they're garbage
You can get the Black and Decker Matrix system for around this price. Takes up less space and the tools are cheaper since they all use the same motor. Mine has been going strong for 10 years and I love it.
For those asking if these are brushless or how do they compare with Milwaukee says a lot and these are more than what you need. Reminds me of a friend that saw my Ridgid tools years ago and wanted tools also so he bought Dewalt. He lived in an apartment.
This is a good deal for the home owner who wants to build a deck, or some light remodeling, build a gazebo, build a shed... Not for building a house, full blown remodeling deconstruction and construction, daily use...

I've completely reconfigured and installed new pipe and sump pump system using these tools. Along with changing oil and transmission using the impact wrench. Also cut down a tree using the reciprocating saw.
These tools are legit and the battery life is solid, highly recommend.
I am new homeowner. I have brought Brushless Ryobi tools for $149. I know these are not brushless but has 2 extra tools. Should I return Ryobi and purchase this one?
Any Recommendations?

The Daimler Benz ownership period was a low point for Chrysler products.

This is subjective, but from my perspective, your kit is a little better. You're in a better ecosystem with better tools (just by virtue of being brushless), and you're giving up a sander, circular saw, flashlight, and some capacity on the second batter.
You can always pick up a sander for cheap if you really need one.

They're made by TTI tools who also make Ryobi and Milwaukee tools so to say a thing or two, they know how to make good tools.

They've held up well and have been on par with ryobi brushed tools. (the brushed impact even used the same motor as the Ryobi iir)
I went on a hart spree last year and ended up about 600-700 in on them due to pricing / clearances
