Again, the 2Ah may be too small to desire, but think watt-hours for a comparison.
EDIT: This is also the older model that has since been upgraded with (2) battery banks and a headlight along with being able to fold more easily for storage.

Now in year 6, the batteries have degraded ever so slightly but not bad. The mower itself is quite nice and still going strong. Also want to add that the mower is a bit heavier than other similar mowers as it's more metal and heavy duty compared to some other electric mowers like other Greenworks models which have more plastic.
The 2 2-Ah batteries have been great for my needs and honestly using 1 5-Ah battery would add quite a lot more weight into the unit and make it that much heavier.

Spend more for one with a better battery. It's so worth it.

Ego 50.4V x 4Ah = 201.6Wh
Greenworks 72V x 2Ah = 144Wh
So That's about 29% less. And 2Ah is way too small for this mower unless you have a tiny yard in a city setting. I think 4Ah is the acceptable threshold. I had been using 2.5Ah, but I'm only using the mower to get the corners missed by a riding mower.

Spend more for one with a better battery. It's so worth it.
Best part is that I don't have to put my AirPods on full blast due to quiet running compared to gas motor
- This is an older model. I haven't used the new models. It looks like new models have a head lamp, dual battery bay, and a sturdier handle (but cost considerably more).
- The 2ah isn't a lot of run time and sizable yards may put a lot of strain on the smaller batteries.
- It's relatively light, cuts well, and the noise level is very good.
- You'll probably want at least another 80v tool set and/or batteries, the 2ah may wear quickly since they'll go through more charge cycles with higher drain rates per cell.
- This mower can comfortably shred occasional mulch and small branches. I haven't tested for a limit, because it's bad for blades/motors/etc (for any mower).
I'd say it's a good balance of performance and price, would suggest getting a 4ah battery and/or another 80v set to rotate batteries.

The batteries do get warm when charging, at least with the 80v set I have. It's a nice convenience to charge fast, but I'd rather not when I'm not in a hurry.
