When you go to register, they will let you know if your employer is eligible or not. I have heard of people using a 'fake' employer (think @big-corporation.com email address), getting validated, and then switching to a personal email at the final step of registration. I cannot validate that as I did not need to go through those steps when I got my account.

Also dumb the G3s don't have a stand. Not sure why they assume everyone is going to wall mount but also that everyone isn't going to use their own home theater setup.

You seriously going to complain about a stand? That's a blessing in disguise. Their own stand is junk and overpriced. AND, it tilts your TV back which is stupid. Glad they did not include it. You can get one on amazon made from super heavy thick glass base, adjustable height for about $70-100

I don't think that works.

There is only 1 page to the registration process. I'm able to enter an email that it accepts as "valid", but clicking Sign Up will just send an email to a non-existent email address. I can't change the email address in the first field either, cuz that grays out the Sign Up button.

Don't need MLA in 83", matter of fact don't need it in 77" as you're simply pushing white point. QD-Oled has it correct in boosting all colors. Sony and Samsung are currently using the superior technology.

If they included it, maybe it would be better. They'd have lessons learned from everyone owning the TV so they'd have to fix issue.

I don't care that I have to buy a stand. What I care about is that I would have to pay a higher price for a wall mount I will never use. Of course, all TVs have positives and negatives, but since I would be weighing the negatives on this TV compared to the QD OLEDs and the QN90B, LG should not want me to have one more negative due to a wall mount that will sit unused in my garage.
