How does this compare to the knipex long nose pliers? Would I be better off getting long nose or needle nose?

My thinking is that long nose pliers from other brands will be decent where needle nose pliers from knipex would be notably superior and probably worth buying.

No TC intended, and I know many will take exception, but Doyle brand at HF (w/ lifetime warranty) is around $14.00 & will be more than adequate for the vast majority of folks. Repped for pleasing others.

There is at least one video on YouTube comparing diagonal cutters, and Doyle seemed to perform better that Knipex, Klein et.al. Now, of course, longevity could not be taken in account, so I will not attempt to dispute your position, however, for Most Folks, Doyle will be quite sufficient at half the price. If you do not agree, that's fine w/ me.
