Can confirm great deal. Just bought one in socal (OC) 2LT at MSRP and $500 factory incentive. No negotiation, was offered a premier in gray or white LT both on the train already. 9500 off with CA clean rebate and free charger installed in 1 week. 2300 miles in 2 weeks going to mountains and Vegas, no complaints!!! Car is great, only gripe is dealing with charging infrastructure where Tesla is significantly better.

Yes, because Teslas are going to appreciate in value. That's why I buy a car…appreciation.
It's not going to appreciate but it will hold it's value way more. But hey go ahead and buy what you think is right for you.

Tesla doesn't even have Carplay/Android auto which is way better and more usable than Tesla's limited system. Allows you to download your apps, not just Tesla's locked system.

The Bolt has what works and you're 100% off about suspension, the Tesla rides way rougher like you're sitting in a bucket. I've owned both. Yes the Bolt seats are not as cushioned, but the seating position is much more upright and ergonomic instead of feeling like you're sitting in a toy racing car.
Im thinking he must be one of those "bigger" guys who thinks weight doesn't affect the effects of his suspension...🫤

Hey, he didn't include the tax credit in the price, he listed the price and mentioned the tax credit. Seems pretty legit to me.

I looked the car up and two local dealers offer the car at $27,090 and $26,595, pre-tax and pre-rebate, just as the OP said.

I rented one last week. It's an OK car. It's more like a Toyota; the Tesla, especially the Tesla Y, is a much more comfortable ride, but it's also double the price. I used several DC fast chargers and they took quite a while, although they're faster in charging a nearly dead battery to 50% than a 50% battery to 80%, so if you just need a top up to drive another 50 miles home, it's not much problem. If you stay around your home are, and you just charge at home, you save a LOT of money and time over a gas-powered vehicle. You'll never go to a gas station again... that's a pretty good deal.
2nd time I've had to reply to this question, I may have to edit my original reply to explain they changed it. The sd staff rewrote it a day later, original poster said $19k. If you look a few posts from from my original someone was confused and "dense" according to themselves they couldn't find $19k and only found MSRP. That said the new post still has to change the language to may qualify not will. "You will also qualify for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here)." I added a edit clarification to my post since some didn't understand the implications for people not qualifying in the lower end of it.

If you charge at home great, if you're paying 50-60 cents a kwh to supercharge, its equal to roughly 35 mpg hybrid or gas @ $4.50 a gallon. Do the math and decide for yourself https://chooseev.com/savings-calculator [chooseev.com]
Never seen a supercharger at 50 cents a kWh, but that's probably because everybody around here drives Subaru Outbacks and F150s. Not many EVs out here in coal country.

Yeah, I pay an extra $100 a year for a regular hybrid that can't be plugged in!
F***ing Ohio republicans, always protecting the oil companies.
Is $200.00 tax too much? That was the highest I could find in all of the states with a quick search. What does it cost to register your car in the state you live in? Part of the gas taxes you pay help with the roads. Why should you or anyone who drives on the road not pay to keep the roads up?

I work near an exit ramp on what is probably the busiest highway in the country, don't quote me on that. We have ZERO chargers there, like one or two at the next exit down which has a busy outlet mall, the next closest bank is like 20 miles away. I drove back home northbound on Friday and was like, "How are all these cars going to charge if they're electric?"

I watched that movie "Blackberry" today and going electric seems like it's going from the Iphone back to the Blackberry with the physical keyboard and trackpad. I don't get how anyone thinks it's the future. If you watch anything like Shark Tank, if anyone took an idea for an EV company to the show, assuming this was a world where EVs didn't exist and only gas cars did, you would be laughed out of the room. "The car takes an 8 hours to slow charge at home, 30 minutes to an hour to charge at a fast charger, but only to 80%, but don't do it all the time, it will damage the battery. You will probably need a house to charge your car. The battery costs $20,000 to replace. On the plus side, maintenance is minimal but the car is heavier than a gas car. Range is affected in the winter."

The response from Kevin and Mark would probably be like, "I can fill up my gas tank in two minutes, why would anyone invest in this? You said maintenance is minimal but an EV has the same brakes, suspension, electrical components, a 12 volt battery and tires as a gas car and we know those definitely are going to need maintenance. The battery is over $20K to replace...who would buy this over a gas car? What is better about it? I'm out..."

I don't get it. I really don't. Don't call me stupid or uninformed, not going to work. There's like a cult-like mentality about electric in that people think that EVs are better because they're different, they don't have engine noise(although a Tesla next to me stopped at a light was making rumbling noises, don't ask me how or why) and because people think waiting to charge is somehow a religious experience or something, LOL.

Did I mention each car takes the equivalent of three house's daily energy demands to recharge? That's wild.
You are talking non-sense, stop reading reports backed by the oil industry

1. The car doesn't take 8 hours to charge, unless you are driver 250 miles per day, average driving in US is 35 miles, a 32A home charger will do it in less than 45min.

2. Everybody talk about battery replacement, but those batteries will last longer than the average person hold their car, before getting a new one. Most of them will not keep a card for more than 7 years, while Tesla (and others) offers 8 years and 100k miles on motor and batteries, and I don't see hundreds reports saying they paid $20k to replace Model S batteries (which started selling over a decade ago)

3. You don't have electrical problems, and you don't even use brakes.

4. The average American use 900kWh per month, around 30kW per day, and 30kW means 120 miles, so you math is wrong, because 35 miles is around 9kW of use per day (avg), not 90kW per your math...
