You're joking right? Even if there is an "oversupply" of cars you aren't going to get a new Porsche for the price of a Toyota Corolla.

Buy a Teamgroup and put your mission critical data on it if it is so good.

Everyone else watch this...

This isn't true. Intel has "retained its 3D XPoint technology that powers its Optane products."

not all ssd are created equal just like not all cars are the same. if a toyota corolla is good for you, it may not be good for others.

There are 3 top PCIe 4.0 NVMe in the market.
Sk Hynix P41.(=Solidigm P44)
Samsung 990 Pro.
Samsung 980 Pro.

I understand there are a lot of people who are still don't know about Solidigm.
About Solidigm.

I don't care whether it is high tech or not. The point was they did NOT sell it to Solidigm.

Because Intel quit developing it. SK Hynix is developing next gen tech. That's why.

I don't care. The point is Intel did NOT "sell" the Optane tech to SK Hynix.

I don't know how I can make this point any clearer.

I don't have anything against Intel, Optane, Solidigm, nor HK Hynix. I own Intel and HK Hynix products. I really think you are confused, friend. There is no fight here.

Should I send back my one week old unopened $73 670p 2 TB back for this since it's 40% more money for more than double the speed, and PCIe 4.0 instead of PCIe 3.0?

Solidigm is the company that bought the Intel Optane drive factories and technology.
SK Hynix is the actual company and that is the least of your errors. Stop spreading misinformation.

Misinformation nonwithstanding: These drives are great. This will be my second.
