Wait for $249 without trade in. Pixels have very low resale value and TIV generally.

1 month of ownership and massive screen issues. (Screen flashes, bars, flickering, discoloration) Apparently happens to this model. What a disappointment.
Have the 7 pro since launch, not a single issue so far, you need to contact Google and get a replacement so far been the most reliable phone I've ever owned including iphone 13 pro max, s22 ultra.

As a Pixel 7 Pro owner, of which this is my 4th Pixel device, you'd be a fool to switch.

I'm absolutely fed up with the consistent bugs of this device. As I get older, I just want a phone that works without bugs or having to reboot.

I'm getting a Samsung before I switch completely to Apple.

Wishful thinking. G'luck waiting until 2025 for that price point on a 3rd party marketplace. Want to make a bet?

I literally run the Pixel 4 and 6a all day on the same T Mobile MVNO. Side by side. The 4 remains rock solid on LTE all day. The 6a periodically drops connection and fumbles with handoff between 5g and LTE. Requires several hard restarts per day. I don't think Tensor 2 fixed any of it. I imagine Tensor 3 won't either.

Thanks, do I put one foot in front of the other to walk too? You are replying that same thing 10 other people had said like I hadn't given it a thought to contact google. Unbelievable.
Listen, I've been in contact with google. its written in this thread. The screen issues are real, just type it in the search engine of your choice.

Google has given me the runaround from day 1. I provided video of the issues showing a pristine phone, they after a week + later after providing everything they asked for; receipts, access to my IMEI, photos of my box etc... They denied me due to "I contacted them on the wrong google account". This was not true. I provided details which proved they were incorrect. We are in week 2 of google giving me the run around. Many people have reported after their screen is fixed, the issue returns. It is a real problem

Was watching "Based on a True Story" on Peacock...entertaining, fyi.

I think all the cell phones were Pixels without cases.

I guess they were paid a lot...because I'm about the only person I know who has ever owned a Pixel on the Westside of LA!

I have just the regular Pixel 7 and love it! I can only imagine the Pro is a pretty big upgrade from that, so totally worth the money and exchange I'd say!

What's up with Android OS support on the Pixel phones? Samsung supports like 4 years with Andriid 16 and Sec patches up until 2027.

No sd card slot has kept me from upgrading my s20...
My next phone is going to be anything with a SD card slot.. Probably a Chinese phone or maybe even a Sony...

Why not just ditch the mindset of needing to put a SD card into your phone and get the model with enough internal storage? In the year 2023 most people could care less about using SD cards.

I assume most are pointing out that on the whole the 7 line has been much more stable than the 6 line, and your comment generally started pretty troll-y without much other context around support.

Frankly, even my Pixel 6 Pro was a much better experience than others, so it might still be a hardware lottery, just with different odds.

To support your claim, I've personally had horrible horrible experiences with Google Fi support, so not surprised if they share the same support team/practices. In short, I had two different boxes show up without a phone (from Fi), and submitted everything to them including doorbell camera footage. On the second occurrence they told me it was my job to contact FedEx, even though FedEx themselves said it was the shipper/insurance holder's responsibility. It was the worst and took forever to get resolved. Stay strong and don't give up!

Pixels are great if you win the hardware lotto. Very terrible if you lose. I have been a staunch defender of the Nexus/Pixel line, but the fingerprint sensor on the 6 and 7 are total shit overall, especially if you use any sort of screen protector.
