Yes, so I am not looking cor an all in one bit (that is one bit does everything).

I should have worded it better, what I meant was I want a set/case (of drill bits) that has those bits in them but not sure which brands to for. I used to use ryobi but I really didn't like their bits much.

I'll be looking at the father's day dill for makita Milwaukee bits i guess
45 or so years ago they had what was called "all in one" sets because actual wood / steel / concrete sets were expensive for the era. And guys like me who were washing dishes for a living couldn't afford decent stuff, let alone good stuff.

I'm with ya on the Ryobi bits being a bit junky.
The sets the OP listed are good starting sets. For masonry, I really liked the diablo set.
Bosch also makes good sets and their stuff is very decent.
I've used the HF wood drill bits and I would skip those.

These are subpar bits right? Makita ImpactX is less durable than Impact XPS, and the Milwaukee bits have the older carrying case. But they do give you tons of bits.

Between the 195 piece set here and https://slickdeals.net/f/16696109-91-pc-bosch-drilling-and-driving-mixed-set-ms4091-35-70?attrsrc=se... which one would be a good buy for general purpose home use ? Newbie here !
Well, honestly, if you want a decent starter kit to figure out what you like / don't like, the Bosch set from Amazon makes more practical sense for a casual diy beginner.
The bits will work but wont be the best.
I would follow that with the set from Makita, then Dewalt.
If you notice one of the differences in cases - the Bosch and Dewalt have tilting bit holders, the Makita case is molded to the bits. I find it's much easier to remove the stuff that I need when the holders simply tilt out as opposed to prying out the Makita bits.

In my experience Makita bits are way better. These rust fast in Florida weather.
