I feel like we're playing SSD limbo at some island beach party, and I already lost when I paid $80 for 2tb lol
because then you would buy it. They are trying to save you money. LOL
I guess the only way to "win" is to buy it when you really "need" the storage. Of course, for SD'ers, that bar can be be set really low or really high.

I think I'll hold off until manufacturers pay me to take their SSD's. Then, I'll start haggling on price from there. Smilie

I ordered the TeamGroup Vulcan Z 2TB for $67.99 two weeks ago from NewEgg for a DIY NAS I'm building. My new mb hasn't arrived yet, so I've not used them yet.

If you only have 2.5" options left, the Vulcans seemed good enough for bulk storage with this not far behind them. I focused on "decent" speed with good power efficiency.

However, for the cost, I'm returning them for Solidigm P41 Plus NVMe 2TB I bought for $75.99, also from NewEgg. They use more power, but at only a few dollars more, I get much better performance.

Again, if you don't have free NVMe slots, these seem good enough.
