Naturally everyone was responding with the obvious "Uh, you bring lunch from home..." but OP wasn't having any of that because they explained that refused to take a packed lunch to work because they "aren't some school kid". Also when someone suggested they meal plan on Sunday, the response was "I can't afford to spend the ENTIRE DAY on Sunday prepping my lunches for the week". Besides, they "wanted to eat something good and different every day for lunch."
The whole thing was so out of touch and made me feel old because it was my first legitimate "kids these days" moments.

Of course it's more expensive ordering through GrubHub, that's how they make money, right? They're saying that GrubHub+ lands you a discount on your order vs. just regular GrubHub. And it's true, I just checked and on a teriyaki combo from my local joint I'd be saving a whole 54 cents!!! Woot! I'd likely never pay for GrubHub+, but getting the membership for free is slick.
