Yes. I always use Asics Trail series for hiking. I prefer these shoes for day hike more than hiking boots cos it's lighter and feel more flexible.

I used to have a narrow foot but now after couple decades of running in need of wides.
BUT when they have the wide, they do fit as wide shoes.
New balance for me runs narrow all the time.
