I believe they charge tax on the MSRP in store.
I have read that some Mobile stores do/states allow It, but it's not that common.

If you are thinking of ordering from Boost, think twice. If things go well, you rae good. If they don't or your don't like your device and want to return it, you will have "fun" times.

I got my Edge, which I didn't like as the power button was extra mushy. Called the number in their return policy and requested an RMA. Have been waiting for the RMA number since last week and every time I calll I'm given a new ETA for the RMA email First, it was 2 business days, then 3, then up to 5.

Guess what? It's been more than 5 business days and no email arrived. Callling them is just a waste of time. They say the same thing over and over. The only difference today after i pushed to talk to a supervisor was "You can return it to the Indiana address without an RMA", which I am NOT doing as their own written policy says:
"Boost Mobile Returns will only handle requests with Return Authorization Numbers. Write the Return Authorization Number on: the original packing slip, and; on ALL sides of the box used to return ship the device."

What a cluster%^^% of a company?

Please, do think twice.

Edit: They also ghosted me on Facebook Messenger after asking me to complete another form.

I did. I paid 17 for a number to port in and they charged me a 35 dollar activation fee and a 10 dollar new SIM fee. Combined with the 50 dollar plan and tax and total for me after all that was $370.
Did you buy the phone in store or online for $199?

In store for 200. If you bought it online, the cheapest you could've gotten it was 400. The instore deal now is over I think.

I went to Best Buy and checked the charging speed of the phone.
68 watts seems to have only one charge rate
Are there charge rates under 68 watts?

If I don't like 68 Watts, can I use my 25 Watt Samsung charger?
So, does it charge at 25 watts?

You may be referring to the absence of settings in the menu to disable "fast" charging modes. This does mean that you can't reduce the charge rate when using the in-box 68-watt USB power block. Other than perhaps by using a 3-amp cable - which I haven't tested.

When using a different USB power block the phone will adapt to the maximum charge rate provided by the power block. So you can use your Samsung charger, and the phone will charge at 25 watts (or less). The phone won't over-drive the charger.

Can I buy this phone with one month $40 plan, and then downgrade to their $15/month plan? Is it easy to do it?
