noted.
but i have others unhappy w the 2022 E+ as well
was gonna use as dd instead of a54.
but i guess i will just stick w the a54 & save my ~240
I have the 2022 E+ as well. There's no GPS issue with mine. In fact, I use it more than my Pixel 6 Pro which was a bug fest. The only thing the Pixel beats this is the camera and timely updates (which again may add more bugs).

Interesting. I was considering getting that for $200 plus $40 plus $4 but if there is GPS issues that's cause for concern
I've been using the moto edge+ 2022 for 3 weeks and zero issues so far and I use gps every day at work. I had a pixel 7 before and this feels like an upgrade: no bugs or performance issues so far, faster charging speeds, fingerprint reader works EVERY time, slightly longer battery life, and it feels noticeably snappier during every day use. I thought the size was going to be an issue but I haven't noticed much of a difference.

They gave me every reason they possibly could but all of them were not actually correct to their own policy. It's obvious Best Buy trains the people in the Price Match department to reject as many PM requests as possible. It's sad when they actually lie about their own policy after linking you directly to it. There is a single valid reason they could use to reject the price match to a prepaid cellular carrier with local stock availability per their own policy as it has been for years and I guarantee no one who works at best buy currently has any idea what that is. It's fine to deny it, but at least don't lie about the reason and then try to find multiple other invalid reasons when each one is shown to be invalid with direct quotes from the policy.
I mean it doesn't surprise me one bit. The company I work for was very proud of presenting our Price Match Guarantee to our clients, we'd price match any reasonable competitor.

You know what marketing did if the product was found at a lower price on Amazon, etc.? We disabled the SKU from the site and made it unavailable, lol. Many such cases.

Either way, I might still go for the Boost deal, and see how I like the phone. The curved screen is the only complaint i have, it was never something I liked.

I also tried to price match it with Best Buy using the chat option. Best buy refused. When I asked the chat agent why, he said that they have a specific list of websites that they price match with, and no others. This list was not provided. I'd still like to get this, but no one anywhere on the internet has confirmed that they've been able to unlock it(moto edge+ 2023).

Don't. I tried to place an order last night and they charged my card but didn't actually create an order. I enjoy being a bit hyperbolic when I write but this is such pathetic fraud that I'm honestly extremely angry with them and Paypal at the moment. I've already spent hours dealing with it. It's such an easy issue to avoid using pre-authorization and multi-stage order validation + verification that it's unbelievable that it happened in 2023. Best Buy CS these days isn't great, but they practically treat you like royalty compared to Paypal and Boost. Paypal is a company built specifically on maximizing fraud so an incompetent company like Boost is their bread and butter.

If I remember correctly I did read someone earlier in this thread said that they were able to lock the 2023 edge Plus from a code with ebay. I think it was the same $4. I think all they did was buy the 2022 edge Plus code. And then they gave them the correct IMEI for the 2023 and it worked

I haven't been able to find that comment. Is that the one that references Dr. Unlock on Fleabae? That person got the 2022 version. Dr. Unlock sells the unlock service for the 2023 version for about $7, but there's no talk of anyone actually using/being able to do that anywhere.

Yes that's the one. But I think they paid $4 and got the 2023 unlocked regardless $4. $8 makes no difference

I saw that it was just the 2022 unlock. If it was that straightforward this thread would be full of people saying it worked for them. Returning it after an unsuccessful attempt to unlock it may not be possible either.

Perhaps. I'm just not certain that many people forked over $450 to buy this in the first place

Exact same thing happened to me purchasing from Boost. Entered PayPal info, submitted order, next page says Payment Declined but the PayPal charge and recurring payment plan both went through on my PayPal attached credit card. Immediately initiated a charge back with the credit card because I knew it would be a nightmare to deal with either Boost or PayPal.

It didn't even give me a decline message or anything else. It literally just charged me and remained on the checkout page. It's so unbelievably bad that any company could be that incompetent with online transactions in this current year with every single protection that even the nearly free hosting services + payment processers offer. It absolutely legally qualifies as both theft and fraud considering they have no intention of refunding you without considerable effort on your part, and only because the penalty for not doing it is far greater. If you don't catch it, you will lose your money.

Does it unlock physical and esim or is it strictly physical sim lock?
