Verizon:
$200+$35 activation fee+$65 x 2 plan cost for 60 days = $365 + tax on device paid to walmart at checkout
$365+$12.44 = $377.44 for TX

I WAS able to get those refunded, I did not pay activation, nor any prorated/first month charges! The ideal way, is You need to pay off the phone, and cancel within 3 days of activation to get refunded everything. When you call to cancel, reconfirm you will get the refund for safe measure, and specify you want to cancel the line immediately (otherwise it will run until end of first month).

information can be found ON THIS PAGE [verizon.com]
"You may terminate service for any reason within 30 days of activation. You will remain responsible for your Activation Fee unless you terminate service within three days of activation."

I just went through the steps and it's a $35 activation fee and the cheapest plan is $65/mo plus taxes.

So at least $300 if you cancel. That's half off the price from apple.com.

Careful, when you go through Verizon.com the discounted price is often after billing credits. So if you try to payoff early you don't get those future credits so it's mostly paying the retail price. Not sure that's the case here but I'd be cautious

I would like to get this phone for my mom. I already have Verizon post paid service with an iPhone that is paid off. so can I upgrade my current phone to this one, activate it, pay it off same day and then go back to my current phone? would this phone be unlocked for her to use at that point? Thanks

Does anyone know of a carrier (preferably discount mvno) that sells unlocked phones at a discount in exchange for purchasing a full year's service?

I am getting an error as well. I saw the Blue went OOS so i tried the Red one. I also see where at the bottom it mentions Verizon requires a trade in..... not sure what that's about but would also kill the deal.

Edit: I'm trying to upgrade an existing phone. I don't owe any on the current phone so that isn't the issue. But as soon as I select that line it creates the error.

Are others getting a line upgrade to work? Or is this all adding a line or new service?

Edit#2: I got it to work. Turns out my last bill credit from my previous device was on my currently issued but as-yet unpaid bill. So I paid the bill immediately instead of letting the autopay go through later in the month. Then I was able to upgrade. Also the Blue one was back available and I was able to purchase one. Thanks OP!

So on Verizon they don't let you pay it off outright for $200?

Was able to successfully make an order for a blue 128 GB as an upgrade on my Verizon post paid plan. Something else I noticed is that the tax was only on the $200 financed price and the financing terms I accepted didn't state anything about a "full MSRP less promo code over 36 months." It simply stated the financed amount was $200 and the terms were 0% APR for 36 months. Nothing shows on my Verizon account yet, but I'm thinking that I might be able to pay off the full financed amount without an early payoff penalty. If so, I'm pretty stoked for this deal.

TY OP!

is battery better than an Iphone SE 2nd gen?

Same here. Verizon post paid upgrade. Looks like I will be able to pay off immediately with no penalty because paid tax on 200 total with zero device credits tied to the 36 months. Awesome deal.

can I do multiple lines or no? I don't see a cart quantity
At first, I couldn't find it either. On the WallMartz page with the plans, look near the top of the page in the center. You'll see...

Click the plus or minus to choose the number of lines and the prices below will reflect the change.

Walmart doesn't do bill credits.
