Shocked as what's a dealbreaker for some people... I have backlight on my Lenovo and have NEVER used it. Learn to type and you don't need a back light.
$40 off 200 Amex offer our there to take it to $410.
Rather cheap-feeling all-plastic build, no USB-C, no fingerprint reader, Realtek wifi (in my experience much less reliable than Intel, but easy to replace), small battery, 16:9 display.
Most people would be better off with the Inspiron 5000 series - I believe the closest equivalent is the Inspiron 5625, which addresses nearly every con I listed above. It's gone on sale for around $500 with a Ryzen 5 5625U, which is more than powerful enough for 99% of users.
I have an acer with a silver keyboard and in certain light the keys are unreadable with the back light. So not only should they have backlight, but need to be high contrast.
