Since getting the EVs we also added Solar to the house, we now have no electric bill beyond the cost of the panels, and we don't pay for Gas. I've taken the car more than 500 miles during a holiday weekend and had no issues finding a charger (increased holiday traffic meant I did have to wait about 30 minutes for the charger to become available).
Honestly, I personally love the car and have no complaints about any such limitations.
Oh and I could make it from Tampa to Tallahassee on a single charge with miles to spare.
I have a 2019 Ioniq and it's awesome. Looking at these new models
Anyhow, Ioniq 5 is a great car in some ways adaptive cruise etc is better than Tesla (which has been surprisingly unrefined) but Tesla sort of suits my overall aesthetic better and drives great (not that Ioniq isnt great, it is just different and got tons of compliments).
On Charging, when Electrify America works, i got easily 125kwh and on a 350KwH charger up to 250kwh for sustained periods. I have never gotten more than 150kwh on the Tesal at a supercharger for a very brief time, or at a Electrify America. I fool the tesla by navigating to a supercharger so it starts to pre-condition the battery, but drive to EA (i got an adapter, oddly my 3 year free charging at EA that came with the Ioniq 5 works on the Tesla, getting comments from non-Tesla drivers to leave EA and go to my own chargers).
The Ioniq 5 is > Tesla on real world charge time, most driving assistance (including lane changing included). Tesla > Ioniq on "luxury feel" driving handling, 10% better range. I wouldn't have sold the Ioniq if it wasnt the crazy offer from Driveway, but the Tesla has exceeded my expectations where i care most except charging speed and oddly self driving ability.
It may be my imagination, but it seems that other drivers do take out anger and other issues on Teslas that are on the road.
One more point, anyone in the NYC area yesterday would appreciate what i thought was a joke in the Tesla, the Biohazard mode.

That all being said, another pro ioniq thing is that it actually seems to get the 300 miles of range it promises, unlike my Tesla. I don't have different driving habits between the two, but I onlyget like 70% of the stated range on my Tesla.
Oh and the model 3 is even faster than both of these.

When regenerative breaking is applied, the rear break lights don't turn on and there fore higher chance for rear end collision. Imagine you're going 60 and let your gass padel off, within few hundred feet the car will come to stop. Imagine whole time it was slowing down, rear break lights didn't turn on making next vehicle hit you.
