I love CT shirts. They're pretty much all I wear as far as button downs. Go for the non-iron, they're truly non-iron and have a great feel to them. Wash and dry normally, just make sure you pull them out of the dryer right away and hang, and you're good to go!

I'm a long time CT customer, probably have 12 or so shirts. Their slim fit is excellent for a somewhat muscular build - just enough room, flattering but not revealing. I recently ordered a 2x 3 for $99 on an offer that my wife got via social media. I was less impressed by the quality of these shirts on this go-around, and I returned 3 of the 6 shirts that I ordered. I only purchase sport shirts that can be tucked or untucked, and used for business casual.

I used to find Brooks Brothers and these shirts comparable in quality, and preferred CT for the typically lower prices, but I ended up buying 3 BB shirts for ~$180 and found the more expensive shirts to be the same or a better value. Their twill material is far superior, at least from my purchase. Maybe it's just the shirts I bought, YMMV.

The CT non-iron, poplin shirts seem to be the most resilient to wrinkles and the longest lasting. The twill textured shirts get funny in the dryer even on ultra low, and get some very heavy, semi-permanent creases in them easily, in addition to being a bit warm. Just my 2c, still a great deal, and while returns take awhile, they're easy.

Not sure if their quality has changed, but I bought four shirts from them about 6 years ago and every single shirt ended in an elbow blowout. Never had that happen since or before with other shirts

I thought this was just me. About half of mine had elbow blowouts.
What the f is "elbow blowout"? Pretending you're Bruce Banner?

Great shirts.
Seems like it's been forever since there was a CT deal posted.
They run this deal constantly it really isn't much of a "deal" as much as the shirt style the deal encompasses is more than usual.

Don't masturbate when wearing this shirt. It is a bad idea.

When the elbow tears prematurely in course of normal usage. Happens to me too, and only with CT shirts. It's a known phenomenon with them. I haven't found shirts that fit better for my particular body, but the material quality really leaves what to be desired. If the price has been the same for the past 10 years, even when everything else has gone up in price, how do you think they manage that? Good old shrinkflation.

I don't know either. I've gone through a lot of dress shirts, but it's because they get shitty looking (white) or the cuffs and placket start to fray.

The material and the craftsmanship is very good with these t-shirts. They are really high quality. But If you have an athletic body type, you're not going to like these. If you are one of those people with pear-shaped body, you might like them. I bought different sizes and fits just to try. If the chest part fits okay, then the belly part is baggy. If the belly part fits okay, then the chest part is really tight, you cannot move much.

I've had a few CT shirts with the elbow blowout. It's caused by getting a sleeve size that is too short. The material is pretty thin on most of their shirts and the sleeve collars are designer in a way that if the sleeve is too short to ride up your forearm when you bend your arms, the fabric at the elbow can tear easily. They do not replace these elbow blowouts either from my experience.

Have heard they drastically reduced the quality.
I just donated/tossed a bunch of shirts I bought in 2013 that were great thickness but absorbed a ton of sweat stains over the years.

Just soak those bad boys in some OxiClean! It'll get the sweat stains right out!

These are the best shirts IMO under $50. Any recommendations in the next two brackets ? $50-$100 and $100-$200?
