I bought an inexpensive stubby socket set like this from Home Depot several years ago and I have used it many times around my house. If you are a homeowner I recommend picking one up.

I have this set at the office and used it a few times. It comes in handy for tightening some basic screws or sockets when you need it.

I have Hyper tough power tool for likely 7-8 years and it's still working and battery last pretty well.

Yeah, I think mine is a Husky set and it is very similar to this product link (the packaging has definitely changed). It may have a lifetime warranty, but I've never had to use it.

Use this set all the time around the house. Got it originally for the stubby screwdriver when I was working in a small space. Turns out it's a pretty handy little set for most around the house jobs.

If you drop sockets they break and chip. They don't have lasting quality. Usually the few sizes that you use, break and you and up holding unused junk.

I have the similar stubby screwdriver set from husky. Sits in a drawer in the kitchen and gets regular use. At this point the ratcheting driver has seen better days. Not sure I'd feel good returning a $5 set that functioned well for over a decade.
