I used to work for an eye doctor that specializes in dry eye. Most people that experience dry eye have clogged Meibomian glands. These glands are on our your eye lids and produce oil to coat your tears so they don't dry up too quickly. When the glands are clogged, the tears evaporate very quickly and dry your eyes out. That's why people with dry eyes are constantly dealing with watery eyes.

A warm compress (the eye masks that you can put in the microwave to warm up) is a great option to unclog those glands. It's fairly inexpensive and you can use it as often as you need. On the other hand, eye drops should be limited to only 4 times a day. I would suggest people give that a shot.

This seems like a good deal. Costco sells it on their website 3 bottles for 24.99
Don't remember what they sell for at Costco when it's on sale though. But can't be any cheaper than this.

Tried a few different drops after Lasik and these were my favorite, the moisture was more noticeable and longer lasting with this vs others.

Glad I can help. I have dry eye on my right eye and still carry eye drops with me if I'm going to be away from home for a while. When I'm at home, I use the heating eye mask as needed. It's also a good reason for me to slide in a quick 10-15 minute nap.

This is absolutely not true. My eye doctor specializes in dry eye and I have been diagnosed with it. I never have watery eyes. If I did I wouldn't have dry eye. That's like saying a drought is because of too much rain.

Thank you for posting. I came to this threat looking for comments like yours. I have tried a few types and haven't been satisfied with them.

Don't put anything in the microwave. Per my eye doctor who specializes in dry eye, use hot water from the tap. Get it hot without burning yourself.
