I happily upgraded to the XM5 on a previous Secondipity deal, and I wish I hadn't. The refurb.was ok - looked good, but the zipper on the new, crappier, folding case failed immediately.
The headphones themselves were a downgrade in comfort and reliability, however. The thin bar pressed on your head (especially if it's large like mine), there's no full collapse like before, the auto mute-to-talk is too easily turned on by mistake, and the mic improvements are overrated.
It does seem to have a better BT connection, but otherwise I'd stick with the XM4.
1. Does the price drops mean XM6s are coming soon (by end of this year?)
2. Whats the difference between this deal and the one on WOOT that was $280 last week? aren't they both selling used XM5s? so why the price diff?
3. Rtings.com still actually has the xm4s rated better. what do you guys think?
