Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

...although why a compact suv IS a bit crazy, like asking for a tiny truck.
But Mazda CX-3 manages to sell, so....
Anyone try to find a Tesla dealership for repairs out in the boonies?
Still one reason to buy Ford, etc...
a warranty claim difficult and possibly skewing their numbers lower..
Tesla has been the lowest rated vehicle for quality by Consumer Reports.
Built in a tent- quality has to be compromised..

If I wanted an EV I'd get a Tesla or a Nissan Leaf but I would rather get a hybrid.
China bought Volvo. No thanks CCP.
Heck, for a while Chrysler used to own Lamborghini.
Tata of India owns Jaguar and Land Rover and my understanding is their reliability has gotten much better after the ownership change.
Volvo is made in many different countries throughout the world and I believe they are opening factory in US so maybe this one will be made in US.
Chinese manufacturing tech is VERY advanced. Only issue is that people are not willing to pay for quality out of Chinese factories most of the time. (Tesla/Apple/etc.) Pretty much only reason Chinese are not selling their cars in US is probably due to dealership and service network issues, (more of logistical issues) maybe utilizing existing dealerships by buying up the existing company may be a way to do it? (Like Volvo) I don't know.
