An additional driver that is side firing (small performance upgrade).

I attached a picture for comparison. Top is Q990B rears and Bottom is 9500s. They look more similar in person as that was just the lighting. Physically, the 990B rears have some tapering of flat sides and a raised look to them.

I don't have them in the same room, I just haven't moved the Q800B and 9500s yet after unboxing.

Glad I decided i was in the market for a surround system this week and looked here today. Ordered a Q900C with an edu email and cancelled the open box Q800B i ordered on amazon last night for almost the same price.

Then saw the deal on the 9500s from Best Buy, so canceled the open box ones I ordered last night (also from Amazon) and went to Best Buy. Ended up ordering 2 sets so I can put a pair with my old Q700B thats going into the bedroom too.

Put it in your cart and see what happens, thats what happened to me but in the cart it became $500.

follow-up: as mentioned earlier in thread, I downloaded the Samsung Shop app, logged in, price showed up as $500 in cart! It auto-applied some Samsung credit I didn't even know I had too, total came down to $410. Super slick!!!

How does this work once you give them the SKU in store? You ask them to ship the item to you and then it automotically comes down to $120? Is shipping the item a special word to tell them too? Thanks for your your reply - greatly appreciated

I just said I wanted to order it by sku. She typed the sku in and it rang up at 120. I mentioned there was one in store and she called home theater and had them bring it up for me and ordered the second for store pickup.

I don't know what it would have rung up for if it picked it up off the floor and brought it up, but giving the sku rang it up for the sale price. If I'd ordered it online it would have been regular price.
