Lowe's included?
That's unusually high value, but 3-5 cents a point is pretty trivially easy for nicer plane tickets.... For those of us routinely getting those please let us know what our 1-cent-a-point cash could've been doing to get us even more $ than we're saving using points if only we had taken the opportunity.
Sounds like you travel folks only doing solo flights and don't have a family with kids. How am I going to use my 100k points for a family of 4 to Japan ?
But you could:
If you want to fly business for everyone-- Book 1 person that way, then pay cash for the other 3. Availability for CASH tickets is usually not any issue. Which would STILL get you MUCH higher value out of your points than gift cards.
Or
If you want to fly coach, Book 2 people in coach with your 100k points, and pay cash for the other two. Again getting vastly higher value out of the points than gift cards. Here availability is going to be broadly better anyway, so if you had 200k you could probably get 4 reward seats.
(ANA, JAL, and Ethiad all have options for coach to Japan from the US off the top of my head that 100k would cover for 2 roundtrip- though only Ethiad is a Citi specific partner)
Thanks
Almost every airline belongs of one of the 3 major alliances-
United is in Star alliance and Citi transfers to Star Alliance members Turkish Air, Thai Air, Singapore Air, EVA Air, Avianca)
Delta is Skyteam, and Citi transfers to Skyteam members Aeromexico, Flying Blue (Air France and KLM), and Virgina Atlantic
American Airlines is Oneworld, and Citi transfers to Oneworld members Cathay Pacific and Qatar Air
Note some partners have better awards charts than others- so which is best can vary.
Generally just googling what you are trying to do "best use of Citi points to fly to Australia" or "Best use of citi points to book United" will get you a decent starting point-- for example:
https://milevalue.com/best-ways-t...ou-points/
Does this mean that I can transfer the point to one of these partners Turkish Air, Thai Air, Singapore Air, EVA Air, Avianca, and book a United ticket from any of those airlines?
Thanks,

Thanks,
This is a great program for booking United flights. You can often find that awards are priced cheaper than if you were to use United's own miles. And with the United eliminating their award chart, and award prices being all over the place, checking LifeMiles first makes even more sense. You'll save on both domestic and international flights but will have to pay the non-refundable Star Alliance booking fee of $25.
Watch out for transfer bonuses that pop up either on the Citi or the LifeMiles side. We've seen bonuses as high as 25% in the past, and they come around pretty often. We don't recommend transferring the points speculatively and instead only transfer points with a specific redemption in mind.
Thanks
They expire 2 years after whatever your last activity is (add or spending Flying Blue points both count as activity)
Note, as above, it's generally only a good idea to transfer points from a flexible program like Citi/Chase/Amex into a specific partner program if you have a specific booking in mind--- which if you're worried about a 2 year expiration you probably don't.
A lot can happen in those 2 years to reduce the value of that specific program for whatever you eventually want to do- so waiting to transfer gives you a lot more flexibility to use a different partner later if needed.
