came out last year, cheapest gmt from a major manufacturer.
pros: pretty, bezel has a day night indicator, lumabright lasts all night, jubilee bracelet, reliable, modified 4r35 of the srpd making the date complication into a GMT complication
cons: only 100m so not a dive watch, no screw in crown, hardlex crystal not sapphire, caller gmt not traveler gmt, friction bezel, not cast clasp, loses couple seconds a week

Havent seen it brought up so FYI

This is an SSK seiko 5 which is only rated to 100m the original SKX had a screw on crown and was rated to 200. SSK is not screw on crown.

I look at it this way. The SKX was a typical dive watch. So it needed a screw crown, dive bezel and an acceptable depth rating. While the SSK is more of a travelers watch. No need for the screw crown and 100M is plenty for your average traveler and the bezel is for GMT purposes.
