Pros should go pro but the rest of us don't need pro level of quality/durability.
FYI for anyone needing a circular saw in particular: This circular saw gets a lot of hate here on SD, it is probably the worse tool of the bunch.

Is it worth the $50 to upgrade from the Walmart branded kit to this, or are there really no differences?
If you live 20mins from a home depot go ryobi, 20 from a walmart go Hart.
I'm not sure why TTI is slacking on the batteries for the Hart though. The current $99 promo for hart can net you two 4ah and a 2ah battery for $100. The ryobi deal from may got you four 4ah batteries for that price.

Funny now when the wife has a honey do for me
I give her the Ryobi Salute and an honest estimate

If it was me and I didn't think I'd needed more and more tools I'd probably get this for $200: https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMA...5013
However, if I felt I would be added more tools to my lineup I'd stay with Ryobi.
If your local HD has this on clearance for $200 (like by me) I might get this: https://www.homedepot.c
