On paper this is a better deal, but when you look at the numbers the 3080ti is simply just limited by being inside a laptop. It barely performs better than the 3070ti in just about any game. Like we're talking about 10%-15% differences here in FPS.

If you need the extra 16gbs of RAM + the extra VRAM of the 3080ti then yeah this is a no brainer but if you're buying this laptop to actually game you're kinda just throwing away the extra $500.

Those 16 gigs of VRAM on the 3080Ti will last you a good long time with all the new games that need it.

If anyone has two Amex cards with the $120 deal you could get $240 off this deal since it's over $1200.

The 16GB VRAM is a pretty big benefit, if you want to play Unreal Engine 5 games.

Alienware is kicking it with deals this month. We needed a 14" laptop and the X14 for $620 after tax and cash back was a steal.

I also picked up an X14 from BB for less than $500 after using rewards, etc., and love it. VERY nice laptop. I'd never pay regular price, but for what I did pay, I'm very happy.

I found one of these on the dell outlet for a great deal but ended up canceling it. The TGP on the 3080 ti is only 140w. That's not bad but the top performing 3080 ti's can hit 175w which makes the 3080 ti premium really worth it.

I think for this particular pc, the 3070 ti is really a better deal considering the performance to price ratio.

I didn't have the Amex offer, but people were saying to split the payment. So pay using Amex with the min amount required to get the 120 cashback, and pay the rest with the other CC which gives you 5%.

Also, the cc cashback site which I used has insider cashback for 50 bucks.
