It has USB4 at 40Gb/s, so essentially yes. USB4 now includes interoperability support for Thunderbolt.
Any USB4 host device (a laptop), that supports 20Gb/s or higher USB4 bandwidth is going to support Thunderbolt peripherals, otherwise there's no reason to offer that bandwidth.

Great deal.
FYI, redesigned Gen4 is on the horizon. Psref for AMD version is still unavailable, but you can look at the Intel version[lenovo.com] to compare non-processor specific specs to Gen3 AMD[lenovo.com].

I appreciate that. What should i get with 500 nits around this price? XPS? Daily personal some home video stuff.
I'm afraid I am not in a position to recommend laptops -- I am not familiar with the many laptop models out there, and depending on your needs you may need a certain combination of CPU, memory, storage, discrete GPU cards etc in a certain budget. XPS without deals would be outside this price range, and there is no AMD option. Also not sure what "home video" means exactly but you might benefit from getting a laptop with discrete GPU. I think there are other places where people will recommend machines for your specific requirements.
The older Lenovo I owned with PrivacyGuard was horrible, even when turned off and viewed straight on. I have not seen these newer models, but the above video does not look promising.
The good news is that if you cannot tolerate it, there are 30 day free returns.

This is an otherwise very nice machine.
This one has 6850U released last year using "Zen 3" microarchitecture.
