I had this thing years ago and threw it away out of frustration. It's far more trouble than it's worth, at any price point. A bad tool can sometimes be worse than nothing at all, and this is one of those cases (imo).
I have this and it's not that useful as a drill press. The black cup that holds the Dremel is made out of plastic and flexes when you use it as a drill press. If that's your primary goal, then get a real drill press. It's convenient when you use the Dremel with the flexshaft as the Dremel hangs above you out of the way. It's somewhat useful for holding the Dremel at an angle when you're sanding, if you're working with small parts and need both hands to hold on to it.

I have this. It's kind of junky. I could mount it to my work bench to make it more stabile, but it's not useful enough to take up the space. Honestly I forgot it was in my tool collection until this post.

I had the same experience as this guy. It's not worth the hassle. I used it once years ago and accomplished nothing. I doubt I'd even be able to find all of its many parts if i tried. Total waste of time and money.

I like this for one use, really tiny drill bits. With such small drill bits you need a fast spindle (up to 35,000 rpm with a Dremel). You also need a light touch. Flexing doesn't matter because you're using so little force. You just can't feel what you're doing well enough with a large drill press. Finally, you need parts held really well. I couldn't find the correct t-slot nuts anywhere so I ended up making my own.
All that said, I had to take it apart and modify it because the direction of travel was a couple degrees off of the spindle direction, which is great for breaking bits if that's what you're into.

I actually found one of these at a thrift store for a few bucks sometime last year. I've used it a bunch for odd little projects that don't require much force like small electronics, eyeglass repair, 3D printing and things of that nature. It's nice to be able to have it next to my soldering workstation and bust it out when I'm needing to use a tiny bit, or even mill something small and fragile down just a little bit. It has its uses for sure, but it's not some rigid press you're gonna do much with but smaller, super, super light work. If I didn't already have one, I'd definitely buy one for the types of hobbies, and things I do. I have a real press to take care of the other stuff. I have a feeling some people dislike this cause they were trying to use it outside of its scope. That doesn't make it trash, it just makes it the wrong tool. It's come in handy multiple times for me.

Better off making your own for your 1/8" drilling needs lol.
Rotary tools are great, but dremel, not so much. Their bits and certain accessories are top notch... but their drill press and "Routing" table are gimmicks.
