Will these do okay in a Kamado Jr for grilling vegetables and pizza?

I've been buying 20lb bags of Hickory at the grocery store for about this same price. Hmm, do I want to store a bag that's 2x the size, and is a blend and not full-on hickory, all to save $10? Agonizing decisions for a slick dealer.
I been using them for over 2 years now, and I like them! If you do any long smokes that bag wont last long at all so not much to store, I literally keep one bag in reserve at all times. Normally get it at walmart but this is a better price right now. I also use a smoke tube to get extra smoke.

You're not going to get smoke flavor from most pellet grills. They're too efficient. Most are convection ovens. You could try a smoke tube but you have to be careful about dirty smoke.
I get a good amount of smoke from my pellet grill.... Now granted I get a lot more when I use a smoke tube, but even without it my last pork shoulder had a solid third to half of inch smoke ring for the 6ish hours I smoked it.

$12.99 in store price at Costco.
Kirkland pellets are made by Bear Mountain which is a really good brand. I have not tried Kirkland bags, only Bear Mountain.

Yep. I sometimes use a smoke tube thingy but it's easy to over-do it too.
This is a greate little device, way heftier than I had expected. But it borderline ruined some pork belly I did last week. Need to learn it, your grill/smoker, and pellets.

Dollar General had 6" size Kingston smoke tubes for $5 a couple years ago. Not sure if they still sell them but they were a good deal for a shorter smoke tube.

Not true! I get great smoke flavor out of my Pit Boss pellet grill (820 Pro) without a smoke tube. Brisket, whole turkey, & whole chickens, ribs. Cook at the proper temperature & duration will yield great smoke flavor. I even smoked a peach pie with apple wood pellets, best smoked pie ever.

We don't have them around here, kinda wish we did. It could give Homer and Lowe a run for their money.

If you're not getting a smoke flavor then you have to turn the pellet grill down to 200 for a few hours to instill the smoke. Turn the grill up to finish. Thats what smoking is???

Lumberjack Pellets are the way to go.
