Is anyone concerned about the item being damaged in shipping? I generally try to buy hard drives locally so they aren't mishandled during shipping. I suspect SSD is a bit more forgiving.

It's a good drive but the price is hard to swallow when 2tb nVME drives are down to $70-80.

Most of those cheaper SSDs don't have DRAM though, correct? MX series does.

Yes, but is that DRAM worth an extra $30-40 (50-67%) added to the price? Unless you have specific needs that require DRAM, which most of us don't, I don't think it's worth that much more.
