Could save even more money buying this from DTO factory blemished (basically new) for $65 + tax + $14 flat rate shipping (~$80 + tax). Makes most sense if you need multiple tools because of the flat rate shipping.

Tons on Amazon or home depot, just search for

0.065 trimmer line. It's a very common size with plenty of cheap and expensive options.

Yeah I have a battery blower and 2ah gives 10 minutes on highest speed. I have to be strategic with blowing the driveway. Batteries are almost as costly as these sale sets

I got this set for this price when I moved in and I'm quite happy with them. The edger only has one line coming out and not two like I'm used to so weed whacking can take a bit longer sometimes. The blower is perfect for basic grass clippings. I use a single 4ah battery and it barely loses a bar.

I was told 40v blowers are good so I am waiting for the 40v tools to go on sale

I got 15 spools from ebay for $10. Much easier just snapping on spools than. winding from big spool. Maybe I'll reload the 15 in one sitting.

I got the Ryobi Edger/trimmer and returned it and got the true Ryobi Edger with metal blade.
The finished job looks professional and you only need to do it every other mow.

18v is just too weak for anything but fine bladed grasses. Anything tougher and you just get bogged down. This goes for mowers and trimmers alike.

I can't speak for the blower, but I had this trimmer for probably five years before it gave up the ghost. It was always finicky and required me to manually advance the line. I replaced it with a different Ryobi trimmer from a DTO sale, and I'm much much happier with that one. You can check out the HD version here (may be available cheaper w/o battery):
