The reason Sensodyne is so highly rated is because those ratings started outside of the US. The US Sensodyne is still good tooth paste but it doesn't compare to the formula the rest of the world uses. You should import this toothpaste from anywhere else, or just bring some back when you travel. I usually get Canadian, British, or Indian imports. Sometimes Vietnam, Italy, etc. Be aware they sell in smaller containers 70g to 100g. The box HAS to say "powered by NOVAMIN"

It's much better. It'll take about 5 days before you notice how much better it is.

Amazon and eBay are where I mostly look. Last stock I got six 70g tubes for $27 but best I see today this moment is four 70g for $35.

Just an anecdote I guess, but I used to use non-sensitive toothpaste and had cold tooth sensitivity. Switched to sensitive type tooth paste and never looked back. Could be all in my head but don't care, seemed to work for me.

I did once read that sensitive type toothpastes remineralize better than the regular toothpastes, but never looked into it.

It does work, as long as you get any version of sensodyne that is sold outside of the US. Canadian and European versions are the best. Indian version not so good. The US version is pure marketing because it doesn't have Novamin, the ingredient responsible helping with sensitivity. There are better toothpastes out there now. I switched to Italian made Biorepair, not cheap but works great. I buy it off amazon.

In Costco, Sensodyne toothpaste costs $32 for 4 pack (each 6.5 oz) which is, 26oz total. It comes to $1.23 per oz.

This one on Amazon, costs $1.08 per oz but, the catch is, you have to subscribe to save (you can always cancel, of course)

This is just slightly better.

Costco has the same Toothpaste at regular price and works out to be $1.23 per oz, this deal here is more expensive at $1.35 per oz. So, it's a bad deal IMO.
