How to hide expired deals in searches

57 10 June 11, 2023 at 06:31 AM
Title says it all. When I search for something like pillows, in the search results there are many expired results. There are filter options on the left side but none for hiding the expired results.

if you untick all the options except hot deals that would be your best bet ( some older deals in hot deals might be expired )

Thank you, I have tried that a few times, but worry I might be missing out on some deals.

I wonder what it would take to get a option box or slide switch on the side panel to hide expired deals?

we try to send all expired deals to Deal Talk that's why I said if you untick all but hot deals they won't show up , some may be expired in hot deals that we have not got to send to deal talk yet

hope this helps

this option actually exists in the redesigned version of the site, but it essentially does what spacecallahan was saying (hides deals in the deal talk forum). if you want to check it out you can use the links in the footer on any page to switch to redesign (and it's fully reversible)

also just for future reference, site related questions/comments are better suited for the site issues questions forum.

happy slickdealing!
