Quote from StrifeZero :
Does anyone have experience with these?
I have been using the MTM-100s for the past three months in my part time WFH office space. I have the speakers connected to my desktop PC for high resolution music playback via optical and a second monitor displaying Amazon Firestick content via bluetooth. I have experienced some issues with having to disconnect and reconnect via bluetooth, but not frequent enough to worry about.

In my ultrawide monitor setup, the speakers image incredibly surprising well. I added an older subwoofer to the speakers, and this created a respectable 2.1 system for both movies and music. These would be a strong candidate for a living room soundbar replacement.

I paid approximately $300 and am extremely happy with these speakers. At full retail price of $500, I may be tempted to spend a little more and purchase other speakers.

I previously tried Kanto Tuks (similar design to Monoprice's MM-5Rs) when they were on sale for $600, and they were amazing! However, I experienced issues with the tweeter in the "slave" speaker in both the original and subsequent replacement orders. I decided against rolling the dice a third time and purchased the MTM-100s instead.

If using in a desktop setup, I would also suggest purchasing a pair of speaker stands to raise the tweeters closer to ear level. Joe N Tell has a pretty good review of these on YouTube. He also ranks these against other speakers as well.

Happy to answer any other questions you may have.
