Is this good? Never really played these games. I tried Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne years ago but didn't really like it. Should I try this out?

Yea its easily worth double and the Royal version adds a lot of content or at least enough to where you can see a lot of the new content on one play through. I am 107 hours in and probably close to finishing my first play through. I don't know if I want to do it again. It is addicting you can easily play for 2-3 hours at a time just trying to progress days.

If you are a fan of turn based RPGs this is probably one of the better RPGs out there. It is a lot of reading though and some of it is voice acted.

I generally dislike JRPGs but I love this game. It's probably the best the genre has to offer but you should know what you're getting into with this. This game is LONG. Probably close to 120 hours for a single playthrough assuming you unlock the bonus semester. But the story, characters, and dialogue are great. Personally, I recommend playing it with the Japanese dub but you don't have to. Battle mechanics are fun although a bit too easy toward the end. For $20 you can't get much more bang for your buck.
