I buy the DiamondClean ones (much better than the SimplyClean ones) in bulk since I've found those work better. Those are on sale right now at 8 for $38 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B38Z3S7).

For those who are thinking "eh, who cares if they are fake, how different could they be," I unknowingly purchased some fakes from Amazon in the past and they degraded my brush motor to the point that it was about 5 times louder after a month of use. I had to leave the room to brush my teeth or it wakes up my wife even if the bathroom door is closed. You won't be saving a few bucks if you have to replace the whole unit like I did.

Description says bristles are soft, but package delivered says medium. It makes a big difference with dental care. If they deliver Medium return it.

As far as OP's deal is concerned these are C1 heads which are Medium firm. I would recommend sticking to Soft C2, S, G2 or A3 heads

I bought it 2 months ago with that link, and the physical packing slip shows Amazon Europe sarl, originating from Netherland (not UK, not sure why). These are European versions but work fine on USA brushes.

They didn't degrade your brush motor. It happened because the screws that hold the motor in place came loose which caused the spacing gap between the motor and vibrating head to close up. This is what made your toothbrush so much noisier. Same thing happened to mine and all I had to do was reopen the gap and retighten the motor screws. Also added some blue loctite to them. It's been good and quiet ever since.

Interesting. How did you open the handle to get to the motor? I was under the impression that it's very difficult / near impossible to do so without destroying it because of the way they build it to be waterproof, which is why replacing the battery is also considered impossible. Thanks.
