In what area of TVs has TCL innovated???

I'll wait...
I wasn't debating anything, regarding any brand. No matter how many words you capitalize, you are cluttering up this post without adding value.

You are DUMB if you pay $1200 for a 65-inch MiniLED from TCL full-stop.

Sorry to all the TCL shills in the chat pod.

But it's true.

TCL is considered entry-level and terrible longevity-wise from ANYONE in TVs. Same level as Vizio. Chinese garbage.
You seem very emotionally invested in trying to prove that TCL is low-budget for some very odd reason.

If people want to buy the TV, let them.
There are plenty of sites available for others to use to compare. Funny enough, most of those sites show that TCL TVs consistently score at the same level as other brands that cost much, much more (and that's at TCL's retail vs the sale price of other brands). Actually, most mid-level LG / Sony / Samsung TVs cost the same as this and perform remarkably worse. And if you're truly hating on TCL's support and longevity, you definitely haven't had any recent experience with Samsung's customer support. Essentially you're paying more for a brand name with less performance, with just as bad (if not worse) support.

And as an owner of an OLED, I would never blindly recommend someone to just go OLED instead of MiniLED. OLED is great for some scenarios and really terrible for others.

I once bought a BF TCL tv that I thought was pretty good for ~$300. But then I saw the Vizio OLED for $999 (in the days where that was a really great deal) and took the TCL back to buy the Vizio OLED. What a mistake as that Vizio OLED is quite a lemon. Should have stuck with the TCL. OLED is great but can be done terribly.

The "NEO" series of tvs from SAMSUNG are known to have issues: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/...t-61760060

Also this TCL QM8 is a much newer TV (barely has any reviews yet).

I bought an LG OLED a few years ago and in a few months I got burn-in across half the screen. I was very careful to not keep the tv on one channel but I still got burn in. I was told the panels could not burn in because of built-in safety modes. BS.

This TV has been getting a lot of positive reviews and rightly so. Was hoping the 85inch had more dimming zones though. These are the dimming zones for each size according to avsforums. 75inch seems like the best value to me.

65 QM850 = 1080 zones
75 QM850 = 1920 zones
85 QM850 = 2300 zones
98 QM850 = 2300 zones

Mini LED or OLED. I cant decide.
How much money do you want to spend? OLED is superior, but you're also going to be spending more.

this guy is getting paid left and right to say negative things about certain brands
Are you really suggesting he got paid to open up the TV and damage the backlight to stir up drama and steer people away from the TCL QM8? Confused
