Model: DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX Brushless Oscillating Multi Tool and 20V MAX POWERSTACK Compact Battery Starter Kit
Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Worth emphasizing that both are professional ranges, the atomic is just their subcompact line. If you're a tradesperson carrying your tools site-to-site, you just don't want to drag the biggest and heaviest tool along for the ride.
Premium tools lines are so good these days, either will do 99% of jobs thrown at it. Sometimes the most power isn't needed—Milwaukee's 12v line is extremely popular with professionals.
With 1.7ah, you can only use the osc blade for about 5 mins lol
"20V Max" is the battery line. They aren't even allowed to call it that in some countries since it's more like 18V nominal (same as Milwaukee M18 and other "18V" tool lines).

Plenty long enough for most uses even if it wasn't an exaggeration. Example: It doesn't take nearly that long to cut a hole in drywall for an old work electrical box when installing a new outlet or light switch. If you are a tradesman who needs more you can buy an XR tool/battery but many of them prefer smaller PowerStack batteries too (better sustained amperage with less voltage sag under load). Depends on the job.
It is a good kit, the price is fine. It isn't a massive slick deal tho. Other high end brands are selling a drill and impact driver combo in the $170-$200 range
For $300 HD has a battery kit plus 2 tools for $300.

Click on the link above and you can see how many of the bundle are still in stock. It is kind of a pain but that is the best way to see what is available.
I'm sure a ton more deals will be available this weekend for fathers day too

The tool itself is $100 regular price at HD right now though, I guess battery and charger are $200

…but your decision might rest on what other tools you might want in the same battery line.

Cordless XR tools are typically 20V Max.
