Everything is very quiet in the couponing world. The only sound I hear is the tumbleweeds rolling by. Maybe it's the calm before the storm and all hell will break loose at CVS next week. I think that the memo thing was a hoax. I haven't heard a thing about it the real world. The reddit thread died a month ago. Suspending cards would be a very stupid way to solve a real problem. The problem is glittering, which is where you use the wrong coupons to get high demand items much cheaper than you should be able to. If you do this on multiple cards, the problem gets much worse. The rumor is that CVS has lost 20 million due to glittering. The memo said that CVS would start suspending cards for suspicious activity but there's a much easier fix - no coupons at the SCO and have the cashier actually look at the coupon before she scans it. If you suspend the accounts of people who use more than 1 card, you're going to ban the lady who shops for her family and her senior parents. Not only will CVS lose her retail business but they'll also lose her pharmacy business and she'll tell all of her friends what a crappy place CVS is to shop at. Unless the CVS head honchos are a lot dumber than I think they are, they aren't going to do this. Just stop the SCO from accepting coupons. Then you'll have to get a Eucerin coupon for Nivea past the cashier. If the cashier is letting it happen, CVS either has to train her better or fire her ass. Simple as that. Most people aren't going to glitter with a real live cashier but they'll do it all day at the SCO. The YT videos are telling people that it's ok to do this because it's only a glitch in the system. I know that CVS has the ability to get those a-holes kicked off YT and they should do it immediately. It's bad for everybody. Couponers aren't at war with CVS. We just want good deals. We don't want people using the wrong coupons and walking out the door with stuff they didn't pay for.

Really bad day for me. They want to open up my chest again to take out the wires from my open-heart-surgery. Then they were talking about doing surgery on the part of my heart that's blocked but one screw up and that's it. It'll make me feel better if I survive it. The doctor asked me if I had any problems exercising and I said no and then almost passed out walking to my car. I was supposed to have a CAT scan of my brain (like the 10th one) but the machine broke. It was that kind of day. Somehow I got the energy to go to Wags, RA, and CVS and I didn't screw up that badly considering. I'd love to sleep in tomorrow but my meds won't let me do that. At least my surgery is still a go for the end of August. Oh, they were also talking about a pacemaker because my heartbeat is all screwed up and my pulse dropped below 40 again. I'm supposed to start some new meds but I don't want to do it because they'll screw me up more than the old ones did. One of the meds I have to take until my surgery but it makes it impossible for me to think. And here I am sitting here trying to figure out Wags deals lol. I have a better chance of walking to the moon...

I dont think it was a hoax, I just think people were misinterpreting it. Many were thinking that accts would be purged/limited based on some kind of automatic rollout. But I always got the vibe that it was moreso letting the cashiers know they could report whoever they wanted....and THEN your account would be flagged for review. SO basically dont be rude to cashiers when couponing and they'll have no reason to pull up your acct lol. They can also pull up old transactions from SCO if they see weird things going on on their Zebra. They can approve or deny coupons at SCO from the Zebra too.

CVS needs to define what suspicious activity is to both the cashier and the customer so everybody knows what they can and can't do. There are some things, like glittering, that are obviously wrong but the other day I was at a CVS that I don't normally go to finishing up a Tide deal. I needed to get a big Tide and small pods and I had the $3 and $1.50 coupons and was paying with ecb's. Nothing suspicious about this but the cashier freaked out and said that I could only use one Tide coupon and then she asked me why she had never seen me before. I stopped myself from giving her the obvious answer and was nice and in the end everything was fine but that's how easily something could go bad. For the record, I was on my way home from a doctor's appointment and her office is 45 minutes from where I live. I wanted to grab something to eat before I drove home and CVS was next door. I shouldn't have to explain that to not be suspicious. I also had my bandage on from the lab work I had done and there's a big hospital up the street so if the cashier was trying to be Sherlock Holmes she was failing at it.

That feels like its bordering on a HIPPA violation, especially with it being CVS *PHARMACY*.

I'm loving next week's RA ad. Some very good deals on things I like to buy. Speaking of buy, has anybody tired Bai? Is it any good? What flavors do you like? RA keeps on having fantastic beverage sales and with this heat we need it. RA has good deals on Pepsi and Ocean Spray this week but it got lost in the Coke madness at Wags. RA has a mm deal on Colgate. I was asleep at the wheel on that one but at least I figured it out in time. Good deal on the cheap Crest if you need that. Great deal on Dove deo. And, of course, there's Covergirl at CVS. Thank God for Govergirl. That's all I can say.

Yes!! I used to get Bai at Wag's years ago when (I think) you got your money right back in an RR! Its just a sweetened drink , no real fruit, but, I liked the flavors. Only one I can remember now, is Blueberry____ something. They also have Coconut and bunch of other flavors.
