If SD would allow rebate talk I'm pretty sure that the threads would get jumping again. What's the reason for no rebate talk on SD? Unfortunately (for me at least) rebates are the future. You can't have a couponing site without talking about rebates.

It's because SD sees it as a competitor, because both of them have an extension to track your purchases online and offer a rebate. It's sad not only because activity would pick up, but also because the SD extension is definitely not as good.
When I am shopping online, the SD version generally is paying 20 - 30% less. In addition, you can only collect from the SD version when you hit higher thresholds than the other site and since the other site also allows you to collect from rebate style purchases, it is easier to earn enough to pull your monies faster there. One final comparison between the two, the other site offers MANY more options for cashing out your credits.

I still have to close out my cards at CVS. I did a lot last night but I still have a lot to do. It's crazy getting everything for free at RA but paying full price at CVS for the same thing. I'm going to walk down the aisles at CVS and throw a bunch of junk into my cart and figure it out at the register. It doesn't matter what I get because everything at CVS is going to be a crappy deal. I just want out. The RA deals can't go on forever so I'm going to do as much as I can the next 3 weeks. We've got a 15/ 50 this week and in-ad BC coupons for the following 2 weeks.
Are you a tough stick? Unfortunately, I am, too. My record is 5 sticks to get the blood to come out. Then I bruise up because of the blood thinner. The tape is the worst part. One time I took the tape off and my skin came off with it. It's no big deal. You get used to it. I used to be very depressed about all of the ugly bruises all over my hands and arms but now I don't care. it's ok if I look like a zombie. I must say that being off of the blood thinner for 3 weeks now has made my hands are arms look almost normal. I don't cut when I just brush against something anymore. It feels really good. I'm sure that I'll get yelled at and ordered to go back on the blood thinner when I see my doctor on Monday. I'm going to refuse unless they either put me in the hospital or the ER when they give it to me. I'm afraid that I'm going to die. When I had the one pill last Monday (or was it the week before?) I had multiple episodes where I couldn't breathe. Nothing is as bad as not being able to breathe (well, maybe some things are but thank God that I haven't experienced them). The worst part is that it happened in the hospital and they didn't do anything for me. They sent me home. I said in an earlier post that I may have to see a psychologist over it. Your mind goes into a panic but there's nothing you can do. It all depends on if it stops or not and if it doesn't that's it.
Yes, many blood takers cannot find my veins. With your cardiac problems, I'm guessing you've had at least one blood gas test done. At least that's what I think it was called years ago when I actually had a panic attack but the ER needed to rule out a heart attack. Anyway, apparently this is a special draw and it had to be done in the wrist area. The regular worker couldn't get it so a nurse anesthetist was brought in. He was brutal. Kept jabbing me over and over with the same needle that kept getting less and less sharp. I finally told him he needed to use a new needle and he got it on the next jab. My wrist was so bruised and was full of small scabs from the dull needle jabs.
And they don't use the tape here anymore. They cover the jab with a wad of gauze and then wrap that with a long strip of gauze that starts as a roll and they wrap it around the arm several times and tuck in the end. You should ask about this or suggest it if they haven't heard of it. Works nicely and nothing will stick to your skin.
And yes, I know about having trouble breathing. With my COPD my oxygen saturation is usually between 90 and 92% and was down to 87% when I was tested in the hospital so I'm often wheezing even without covid. And one of my medications tends to lower my pulse and when that gets down close to 40 bpm my breathing is very hard.. That's when I try not to do any walking for fear of falling. I just take breaths as I'm able and try moving my arms and legs around to try and bring my pulse up. If that doesn't work, I just wait until it passes, usually within an hour or two.

And yes, the lower pulse seems to make breathing more of a problem for me than the oxygen saturation.
I never heard of a troponin level but I had this happen probably close to 40 years ago. Heart was okay; it was just a panic attack. And I've never had another one so that was good.
