Any idea where I can get some Brach's jellybeans? They're always available seasonally but I need my jellybean fix like now lol.

Checked CVS and Wag's. Only Wag's has jelly beans but just Jelly Belly brand and Starburst jelly beans IN Stock!

Try your local supermarket, too! I don't know that Brach's puts out Jelly beans in the fall.
Go for the good stuff, Jelly Belly! Sometimes Russell Stover makes them, too, but didn't see them on CVS or Wag's webpages.

I checked Vons last night. I was going to try Ralphs this morning but I hate dealing with the day shift even if it's only to go in there and check stock. Maybe I'll do it later when the kids come in. The 99Cent store has a ton of candy but I don't know if I've ever seen Brach's. I haven't been in Dollar Tree for a long time. Same with Grocery Outlet. They probably won't have what I'm looking for but maybe I'll find something else. I'm sure that CVS won't have it and if they do it will be $10. RA has Brach's and Russell Stover jellybeans but only seasonally. Russell Stover is much better but I'm ok with Brach's. I'm not a big Jelly Belly fan unless I can get all red or mix it with something. I don't like the weird flavors. I'm sure that somebody has to have Brach's. If all else fails, the 99Cent store has Red Vines for a dollar. They also have Jelly Belly but it's the one with irregular shapes. Let me ask you, would you eat a gummy worm that looks like a frog? Well, I'm not going to eat a jelly egg that looks like an ostrich...lol

Amazon? They have everything. Of course I bought the Dunkin jelly beans for my neighbor at Easter and he liked them and asked where I got them (Walgreens) but they were already out of the store by the time he asked. I found them on Amazon and learned they were "limited edition" and super expensive. I'm not pay $8 for a bag of jelly beans.EEK!

Looks like my CG coupons may be delayed. The plane took off last night and then returned 12 minutes later. They're still at the distribution center in NY. I was thinking that I might get them today. Now I'm hoping that I get them before Saturday. It doesn't really matter. If they get here in time, my car will break down.

After this experience, I am trying to recalculate my eating habits so I don't gain weight but keep my options open.

Taking Boost with me when I go to CVS is a good idea. RA is only 15 minutes away but CVS is another 20 minutes and sometimes I get really tired. I always have my Nitro with me so I might as well take along the Boost. Calories don't matter when it's something that you need. I always take an ice chest with me. I'll bring a sandwich and something to drink. I'll find a shady tree and eat lunch if I don't go to The Habit or In and Out. Even if I get a burger, I save 3 bucks on the drink by bringing my own and I'll just sit in my car and have lunch. In and Out is cool because the wait so long that I can catch up on my paperwork while I'm sitting there.

That's because you're a guy. Men can consume a lot more calories than women can and not gain weight. I agree with S'Momma about trying not to drink calories. It is a constant battle not to gain more weight.

I will say, when I'm out shopping and have somewhere else to go in running my errands, I don't worry about a piece of chocolate or something else that will give me strength and cost me calories.

But I lost 5 lbs within a week when I changed from original Coke to Coke Zero.

I used to compete in a lot of swimming contests. I had an injury a few years ago that ended that and I went from being able to eat anything I wanted to having to watch every calorie. It's very easy for me to put on a lot of weight. Right now I'm happy where I'm at. If I were still doing contests I'd want to lose another 20 pounds to be skin and bones but there's no reason for that. I'm 10 pounds less today than I was when I got out of the hospital a year ago after my heart attack. I could easily be 50 pounds heavier. I've failed at almost everything in life but I'm proud of myself for this.

I was confused about Peter for a long time too.

And Fab, that is great that you're maintaining a fit weight. I'm sorry I jumped on you. And you do go out and get a lot of exercise in the stores (I'm not being sarcastic. I know that is a good way to be active.) I gained some weight during covid and cannot get rid of it. So I am overly touchy. Sorry.
